First cardinal rule must APPLY - dress your age!
The clubs you mentioned are thankfully have nothing against the all time classic of tees and denim. But how to stand out from the crowd?
The current rage is on Vintedge Tees (Esp from 70's TV series, pop culture e.g. RC Colas etc) However, please, leave those with rude comments on human anatomy out! They are totally like way NOT IT!
If you do have deep pockets - Brands like Diesel, Energie, G Star, True Religon have excellent clubby tees that marries chic with casual.
Denims - do find a pair that fits your lower body - short stubby legs should avoid low rung jeans, unless you are Bow Wow, then its a different story. But you dont hang out a video hoes do you?
I always encouraged a nice finishing touch in terms of a nice, talk about watch - example pairing a tees and denim with Tag Huer Monaco series with make you a man of substance and style.
Last BUT never the least - SHOES! if you have those scruffy, grubby sneakers that carries you from work to gym to weekend. You should throw them out and in the meanwhile, move out of your parents' house and get a backbone!
Cool leather sneakers in 2 tones, current rage are those collectors from Puma, Nike or the ever so hot Adidas.
There your nite out is complete! 2 more important things that you should never forget to wear too - your personality and a smile

Only trolls go to clubs like that. Since the point of going out to clubs is to get laid and the chicks in those horrible places are all low quality skanks, you are wasting your time there.
The club you want has blues or jazz being played and tends to be low key. All the women there are dressed nicely and are extremely hot. They are there because they want to **** you, unless you act like a jackass. Dress nicely and be on top of your game.
But, by all means, if you prefer to be a loser, go to your "hardcore" club. Wear a diaper if you like, it doesn't matter in the slightest.

A nice a pair of jeans, a pair of kenneth cole casual shoes( black) a button up shirt.....( don't button it all the way up stop at third button from the top...lol) if possible a nice pinstripe seersucker jacket of a nice linen jacket .............. a lacoste or polo shirt have it loose not real tight dat the ladies can see your heart beating lol..... a nice fossil watch, a nice belt with a cool buckle, and a pair nice steve madden's........................ Don't forget. the sean john or the curve wave, dolce and gabbana cologne. you are good to go.. get drunk

Not those stupid "club shirts" that button down the front with skulls or god knows what else all over. And not those really baggy raver jeans with the belts and buckles all over. If I never see another guy wearing those, it'll be too soon.

Erm a smart t shirt, or shirt, a nice bright colour nothing dull and boring, but not to smart, like no tie! And then jeans or something similar and smart shoes, not sandals or flip flops! :P
