What would you change about your school system to help you and/or your family learn better?

I would have teachers with a variety of teaching styles in each grade, to suit each childs' learning style, not just one or two like the schools I know of.

I'd remove the computers. Really.

This would encourage better reading and writing skills (not to mention penmanship), but also remove an unnecessary distraction.

I'm not sure I know what you mean by "learning style"; but, I can assure you that each teacher has his own methods.

I would have different levels in each subject, and make sure that logical and analytical thinking was encouraged with games, puzzles etc. Sicne that's what matters in the real world.

That and I'd make all the kids just a little nicer but the teachers may help do that, when everyone is sitting in school and is miserable because they have a nasty or just a plain old bad teacher, I dunno about you but that doesn't make me a happy camper.

~If you are going to rely on schools and teachers to learn, you've got problems. Pick up a book.
