No. Ear candling is a hoax, only gullible morons would fall for it.

contrary to what some idiots say yes it works.
Ear candling is a safe, simple, natural way to remove excess wax and debris from inside the ears. Long tapered candles are inserted gently into the ears, then lit. The candle creates a slight vacuum effect, oxidizing, vaporing and drawing softened wax and debris from the ears. This is a very gentle and non- invasive process.
it is recommended that you do not hold them straight up and down, tilt them just slightly to prevent the possibility of hot wax dripping into the ear.
maybe some people should stick with things they know about.(hpgallard)

Ear candling is a safe and effective way to remove and/or break uptoxins, debris, and ear wax in a non-painful way. I recommend that you do two sessions the first time (which means do each ear with a whole candle twice) you do it just so it can actually break it up and remove everything.

Yes- my mother was an alternative health practitioner and did the procedure on me.
I saw all the gunk in the tube- it was for real and not candle wax. All I can say is try it for yourself, only then will you know if it works for you.

It was a little scary, having a flame that close to my ear, so make sure a calm professional takes care of you.

I am really not 100 percent sure, but I think that you would put your ear in one end of the cup, and then hold a candle up to the other. The hot air would be what melts the wax if it does work... I am not sure it would. You would probably burn yourself before anything came out, or at least burn up the cup. Overall, I'd say you are better of to use a Q-tip.

...some people don't believe that it does. Just be sure to use some ear drops , or your ears may itch like hades for a while. You can get an idea about what I'm talking about at www.nutribiotic.com/Eardrops.htm or make your own ear drops. Check out this recipe. www.recipezaar.com/73168
I've had ear trouble for a long time, and unfortunately ear candling has not relieved my trouble...

Yes, I had it done once and I swear they had to use 10 candles, when it gets close to finished they cut open the candle and I could see all my nasty brownish/tan ear wax !!

No, I did a research on that... its wack. Check out the internet and see for yourself.

The wax you see at the end of the process is the same wax that you burned (duh), NOT your earwax. Ear wax doesnt get suck up by the burning candle/cone. If I stick a vaccuum cleaner on your ear, your ear drums will pop by your ear wax will still probably be stuck inside your ears.
