Yes you do. It's called shyness and social anxiety. Get it over with as soon as you can by practicing meeting new people making new friends.

You can also try telemarketing, door to door sales, get a job working with other people. Make new friends.

Don't forget about yourfriends because true friends will stick arround, but for now you need to spend some time away from them. Get out there meet some new people, gain some new social skills and make more friends. Before you know it, you'll be back with your old friends and it will be much easier to interact with them in general.

no..i dont think you are psychic, because that would mean you can read peoples minds and tell the future. heh.

but, social anxiety, which it seems is what you have, is very common. alot of people, myself included, do not like social situations, and feel unfomfortable with new people.

but, I have learned to just not care. its the only way to get over it.

realy, who cares what anyone else thinks..they are probably just shallow ignorant people anyway, they probably get their news from a gossip magazine, and care more about what brand of clothing you wear than what you think.

you should just be yourself, stand up for your thoughts, because no one is wrong, we are human, and we are nothing more than animals that can communicate with each other.

every bit of information is corrupt, it is biased, and usually in the favor of those who have written it. as they say history is written by the victor.

so, even if you are wrong about something, its likely that you just have a different opinion of it.

if someone makes fun of you, just ignore it. and know that they are only doing that because they have personal flaws that they need to cover up by bringing out the small flaws that other people may have.

You know! I used to hv that problem too! But I guess I recovered form that! From what I understand you should not actually be worried! Bcz if u hv friends then you can tell them anything! They expect you to tell them anything! And if u dont they wont consider u as a friend! Plus if they laugh and poke fun at you then they are not your friends! So good luck! You will be OK!

I remember myself feeling that way too but I overcame it.
Actually, there's nothing wrong with you...You need to be socially exposed so you will be confident in dealing or mingling with others. You need to erase all negative things from your mind (like when you're afraid of speaking to your friends and worries). In reality, your friends aren't thinking of the way you ASSUME they are thinking and that's blocking you to be comfortable with your friends and talk freely with them.

i think u r insecure and haf no confidence in yourself. do something u r good in (a sport/hobby) and try to make it ur trade. when u feel good, u will naturally let down ur defences around ppl.

and that gives u a topic to talk confidently to others to. build up slowly from there.. and most imptly, relax! dun get too uptight abt everything..

i was always worried about what my peers thought. then i started hanging out with people who became my friends that cut up on everyone. no one of us is better than the other. and we all joke, tease, and give hell to one another. i guess what im trying to say is real friends arent going to make fun of you. and if you make a fool of yourself, dont worry the other persons turn is coming!

You have to learn not to take yourself so seriously. When your friends laugh at you and make fun of you, its really a matter of them laughing WITH you vs. at you. If you can laugh at yourself you won't have a problem with what they think about you.

You are just worried. But you need to be yourself and not worry about what the others think of you.

If they are mean to you, they are not your true friends and they are not worth you time.

Try to be happy with yourself for who you are and not care what others care about you. Make yourself happy about you and then you wont worry what others think.
