I have played golf, and although it's a lousy specator sport, it's the greatest game to play, that we have.

The handle of say, any wood or iron, is very small contrasted with the handsize of any man, or even woman.

The trick is to WRAP your two hands around that narrow area.

There are three grips:

Baseballbat grip, one hand just above the other.

Interlocking grip--where the weaker hand slides its thumb up into the dominant handgrip.

And third, what I used, with small hands, is where my right little finger interlaces between my left index and middle finger.

The most important thing about any grip, is that you do not need to squeeze the club. think "Baby fingers".

If you put your finger into a baby's palm, there will be an effortless but powerful grip.

Same with the golf club. Once your hands feel comfortable, don't you worry. The club won't fly out of your hands.

You want to sense a comfortable UNION of hands and club. As if the club were an extension of your arms, just making your arms longer, s all.

Have both thumbs pointed at the club head. Ignore the angle of the club face. Only the bottom, which is a straight line on the clubhead, means anything.

Smash DOWN on the ball, and the angle of the club will scoop and swoop the ball UP !

Amazing, but it's true. If you try to scoop the ball up, it will be topped and go down. Swing DOWN on the ball.Take a divot. The ball will fly high.

And whack it straight down the middle!!!

Too big of a grip will cause the ball to slice (go right), while too small of a grip will make it hook (go left).
