Why just ladies? I am the only one that can get the whites white in my house. All whites separated from colours and put into machine. No delicates or fabrics that can not tolerate bleach. 50 or 60 C temperature. Add about 50-75 ml liquid bleach to the soap tray with the normal soap powder or liquid.

Use spray and wash, or shout of something to that effect, on all the whites, as you are pretreating them let the washer fill with hot soapy bleach water. Once the tub is filled, put the clothes in and wash. However, if the whites are dingy, or stained, then you will want to the the pretreat set in. Also, you can use some oxyclean, in the water as weel.

Wash them separately and immediately (As soon as a stain appears) and work on that stain first! Use vanish or whatever else then wash! Avoid wearing your whites in the company of animals (pets and human beings), alternatively ... Do not wear them that way you won't have to worry about any fab way to keep them white!

I've used it for years and always get comments on how white everything is. No bleach it breaks down fibers. Hot or warm water with your regular detergent. Don't have anything but whites in the wash.

Sure there is ...clorox bleach. Just put all your solid whites in the washing machine, add the bleach accordingly and poof , your clothes are whiter than michael jackson.........you can find this bleach in the detergent section at wal-mart or the grocery store.

There is a product called 'OMO' that's been around for a while and it works wonders.
My son wears white cotton shirts as a part of his school uniform. I soak all 5 of them overnight on Fridays, rinse them twice and then launder as usual with Tide HE, rinsing twice again.
Never fails. Imagine that. He's 8 years old.

Hanging wet clothes out in the sun really helps. My grandmother used to lay her white laundry in the grass (gently) she said there was something in the grass that would naturally pull out any stains and I have done this also. It has to be a sunny day.
