No country or society can ever be totally free from corruption. this is a historical fact. of the many kinds of corruptions, monetary corruption in most prevalent and also by and large, least harmful. In Indian context,it has it's origin in their culture, religions as well as in their customs/tradions.People attempt to bribe their God and deities for favours and has social sanction. therefore, let us accept it and work towards minimising it.

Is it possible to remove the corruption from the world? No, probably not everyone has their own minds and own agendas so chances are it will never happen I don't mean to sound so negative (or run the risk of sounding cliche but I will) but if everyone in this world would work to together instead of against each other we get a heck of a lot more done! As I said though everyone has their own mind and is entitled to their own opinions. It comes down to how much you worry about getting what you want and how you go about getting it. Thats a big part of the corruption we see everywhere in the world today. People are so worried about getting what they want and having things the way they want it that with out any regard for anyone else, they choose to either do things the right way, the honnest way (which isn't seen too often in the world of politics) OR they choose to do things the wrong way...the dishonnest way which is in most cases is the path most traveled, and a lot of times its the shorter way of getting what they want.
I think that most political figures don't care about the people it's one thing when your running for office to say the right things to make people believe that you are a good person (they want your trust thats what they are banking on) and have morals...but its a completely different ball game after they have become elected. Actions speak louder than words. Politicians can say anything or all the right things for that matter and get elected but when they are elected if they do exactly the opposite...well lets just say we made a big mistake for giving them the power that we did. It all comes down to who you personally think is BSing more.
I often times wonder if political figures these days have a conscious or a mind of their own for that matter or are they puppets on a string? Do we the people honnestly think that they EVER speak for themselves...the sad part is if they did would we even be able to tell? lol

I don't know much about India. But I live in the most corrupt county in the U.S. San Bernardino County. Although they are working on this problem and have made great progress in identifying and prosecuting those involved. I feel corruption can be reduced, but never eliminated! It usually involves gaining money or power, and about who's involved and if they actually getting caught or not! I feel that many legal "loop-hole's" exist which could be seen as a type of corruption when examined closely.
