Race does not exist. The term "race" is a culturally reinforced social construct. We are all human beings. A person's skin color is determined by the amount of melanin in their skin. That is a genetic trait. All living humans have DNA that is related to a 200,000 year old ancestor found in Africa. We have since become separated by geography, language, culture and misunderstanding.

I think so I my self have datted girls of my own race , but very funny now Im with a person from the other side of the world (japan) .When I went there I noticed tha people wich are very closed to them selves are oppening more to new things like things from my contry Taquerias and we were not the only mix couple. I also work in a school(10years) and I noticed an increse in mix parents families since 3 years ago,
I think people are realizing that happiness in a relationship can exist no matter the color of your skin or cultural backroun.=)

I remember hearing my grandparents arguing over my parents. My mother was Irish, my father Scottish, and, for some reason, that was an unforgivable union.
What a silly upset that was.

Honestly, I don't think it'll be an issue in ten years.
I mean, I don't think folks will take notice if folks of different races get together. It'd just be another couple, congrads, throw some rice, yadda, yadda, yadda.

What does it matter anyway?
Not to be all sappy or anything, but we are all the same race anyhow... human!

I don't see it happening in 10 years but I believe eventually it is inevitable because minorities will become majorities and finding a spouse will also be an issue of
availability in choosing a partner. The world grows smaller everyday and looking farther ahead into the future I think that at some point in time the peoples of the world will be virtually indistinguishable in appearance, there is a bit of evidence of that with the offspring of current interacial couples.

In all reality, probably not. There will be a much larger proportion but in the world [~6.8 billion people] only a very small number of marriages are interracial

I hope that in 10 years people will come to relies that all are equal to the point we will not notice if it is a mixed marriage or not and we stop making it into statics and numbers.
