Yeah sure those feelings are normal...
I've felt like that since I was 15. Theres gonna be heaps of people that will try to shame you though. But it is just a natural instinct. I havent had a baby yet and I'm glad I didnt because I've been able to do all the things I've wanted to do like get an education, buy a car and live independently. I was able to these things alot easier because I did them because I wanted to and not because I had to.

Just try to be as informed as you possibly can about it.

I would also suggest you wait until you find someone that you love and that loves you and be with them for a while before you make your decision.

Good luck to you.

This is normal for teenage girls who have some issues to work out. So normal and not normal.

Chances are...you all are trying to fill a void with some unconditional love you are not getting right now when you were younger.

I hate to do this to you but I have to...imagine no freedom, you now have a child to care for. You just want to take a nap or eat dinner, but your toddler is on full blast and into everything, he/she has gotten into your CD's and DVD's and broke at least 5 of them and is now smearing toothpaste on your bedspread. While you are throwing the CD's and DVD's in a box and trying to clean up the toothpaste, he/she now has control of your dinner and is dumping it on the carpet. This seems made up but let me tell you, it's not! They are cute, cuddly, hungry, pooping, peeing and crying when they are babies but that is the the good part. They soon learn to get around and are curious about everything which means it's all "fair game". If I knew this I would have waited a few more years.

You are considering taking on a responsibility that cannot be reversed. This is not a puppy that pee's on your floor and you take to the pound....this is a tiny human who can be ruined for life very easily. And you have so many fun things to encounter between the ages of 18-28 to just throw away. Seek support and counceling, you are just too young to make this decision right now.

I think its very normal. It's like a young teen boy visualizing being a night in shining armor, protector, companion, and provider. I think it's part of the process of growing up and mentally projecting the roles you will play in your future. It is important to know now what those responsibilities will be and it becomes more real the more you think ahead. You are changing and growing physically and psychologically.

It's not just you...well as long as you're thinking "oh babies are cute, I wish I had one to play with". If it goes past that then it's alittle weird. I found that when I started to develop I had a slight motherly urge....nothing I wanted to pursue though.
