I am getting a tatoo on my lower back and need these symbols to be accurate because it means at a great deal to me and someone special who the words are for.

In Japanese:
金の心
This is read "Kin no kokoro" and literally means "heart of gold." I know that heart here is being used in the correct spiritual/metaphorical sense (i.e. not referring to the organ that pumps blood), but the symbol I've used for gold does refer literally to gold, and I'm not sure whether the connotations of that are the same in Japanese as they are in English. Ergo, you stand some chance of looking completely silly in Japan if you get it tattooed like that (even if the translation looks perfectly fine). Therefore, use this translation at your own risk.

I would certainly not trust ANY answer I got here or anywhere else on the internet. If you're near a large city I would suggest going to the library and asking for help there. If they do not have the proper reference books they will at least be able to point you in the right direction - to a source you will be able to trust.

i hope u do research before u get it done the last thing u want is ti to say something stupid like a s s when u think it means heart of gold...do alot of research first
