To me, it means that man tends to focus on the material accummulation of wealth, toys, and fine luxuries of life, instead of the most important things.

To me the most important things in life are my family, my relationship to God, and living my life in accordance with the Great Plan of Happiness. After these three fall everything else.

The worldliness of man begins with the element of Pride. Pride begins to puff men up with the belief that they must be better than, have more than, have the best of, etc. and they divide themselves into categories. You can see where this path leads by looking out the window: Greed, lust, corruption, dishonesty, envy, spite, scandals, and so on.

Well, I always say I am not of this world or that I am not worldly. For me personally, it means I am not mainstream, not keeping up with the Smiths or the Jones, I am not "into" social pressure, I am a homebody, I keep peace and harmony in my household. I seem to associate it with negative things. Only peace and love for me:)
