The way you look on things. What seems to be unlucky today may have been the luckiest thing to ever happen to you tomorrow. Sometimes the unlucky things or moments in our lives introduce the most important people in them. Someone who we would not have met had it not happened.

Chance. If there is no risk there can be no reward. If you win regardless of what you do or say, then you are not lucky, you are spoiled. If you can't win no matter what you do, you are eiter cursed or a victim of a cruel trick. The risk has to be real and the reward has to be real for you to have a chance of being lucky or not.

In a set of events where all the events have equal probabilities, one is chosen randomly and that event also satisfies or coincide with the event that you had in mind or in favour of. If unlucky, the event that you are not in favour of is chosen.
However, in reality random incidents are near impossible to occur and the events do not have equal probabilities of occurance. In a controlled Chaos envoironment, the occurence of an event is influenced by initial changes in all factors. This is not random.

If I WIN A LOTTERY I AM LUCKY
IF MY NEIGHBOUR WINS A LOTTERY I BECOME UNLUCKY
WE ARE NOT HAPPY THAT WE WON BUT UNHAPPY THAT THE NEIGHBOUR WON.
SAME CASE WITH LUCKY AND UNLUCKY
A BEGGAR IS UNHAPPY THAT ANOTHER BEGGAR HAS MADE THE FIRST ROUND OF ONE STREET BEFORE HE COULD DO IT.
I AM UNLUCKY THAT I AM NOT THE FIRST TO REPLY AND THE REST ARE LUCKY THEY REPLIED FIRST AND HAVE A CHANCE TO GET TEN POINTS!!!!!
