or does it depend on the school itself?

I know that I could probably look at a reference guide like the Medical School Admission Requirements book (MSAR), but I was wondering if anyone had low GPA and/or MCAT scores and still got accepted into an ALLOPATHIC (not osteopathic) medical school.

My GPA and MCAT scores aren't deplorable. I'm just curious.

I've had students get in with sub-3.0 & a 18-19 on the MCAT get accepted - but they were all underrepresented minorities.
