Move away from anything that could fall on you. Get under a table or get flat against a wall. Stay away from windows and outside doors.

If you're outside, move away from power lines or anything that might fall. Move away from buildings; they could have architectural pieces that could fall on you.

If you're in a car, stop until the quake stops.

Don't use an elevator. Don't light any matches.

And as they always say, stay calm. Yeah, right.

It depend the type of house we living, if its a simple one chances of surviving more, but terrace house chances are very slim, now Japan has come out with a new idea of iron capsule, when totally trapped we will be saved inside, but this is a new technology, it will take time to come, the only best thing we can do is to move away from that zone..

u should get undr any table chair or bed .we should stand near a door .
