My husband very rarely ever answers me right away. What's up with that? 15 minutes to answer a question just seems like a bit much to me.

Because he is looking for the politically correct, emotionally sensitive and ethically truthful answer as tactfully as he can....Now that is a tough job. Keep your nerves calm....the fact that you married him shows he is not a dim wit (I hope you were wise there). You can consider yourself lucky to have a husband who values and weighs every word he says to you.... shows how precious you are to him.

It takes two to tanggo! wives having been too comfortable with their husbands just expect too much without first looking at themselves. Think about this - would you ask the same question to somebody not related to you the same way you asked your husband? Marriage is a two way relationship girl, give some and take some. By the way are you my wife?

Is he scared that what ever he says will be wrong? It may sound funny but some men are that intimidated by their women. (I am not trying to insinuate you are controling).Talk to him, it could be a security issue with himself. Something he learned early in life because his parents would not believe him even when telling the truth. What are the types of questions? If they are serious to the relationship and he is hesitant, there maybe a lot more to the issue.

My hubby does the same thing - I ask him something simple and he takes forever to answer, drives me up the wall! I did notice that he did it most when he was watching tv or on the computer. I guess they are just so preoccupied and into whatever they are doing they take forever to answer or acknowledge the question.
I got pretty tired of repeating myself, so I talked to my hubby about it and he's trying to make sure he answers me in a timely manner. He's not perfect - sometimes I still have to ask him a couple times, but he's gotten pretty good about it.

He wont answer because he has to think. If it takes him 15 minutes, he is probably an ex-acid junkie. Get a man with a brain that isn't moldy.

he is thinking VERY VERY hard as to what he should say.

probably because even the truth will get him in trouble.

women need to lighten up and learn that they are not all goddesses. they are fallible and very often wrong, and fat. yes i said it, that dress makes you look fat, why, because you ARE. and you look like a prostitute in that one skirt, but guess what, we LOVE that...

lol. thats the truth. i dont know what questions you have asked your husband in which he could not reply right away, but most likely they would have gotten him in deep trouble if he did not answer them just right.

Wise man always say, "think before you offer an answer". Depending on the question/questions asked. It's better to think twice or even trice before answering. Cheers.

It depends on if he is sober or not.
It depends on how many questions.
Maybe your questions seem like a bit much to him?
What's up with all the questions?

He has to think about an answer that is believeable and wont make his wife mad. He is trying to think of the "right" answer even if there isnt one.
