see, my step dad treats me differnet from his daughter, i dont get it. he raised me but it was always differnetly....why is that?

Not all step dads do that. It depends on what the guy thinks. Some real dads treat their own children differently, favoring one over the other. Some adopted fathers treat their children as though they were natural.

Try to get along with him as best you can, and know that when you grow up you can start again with your own family!

I don't think he does it on purpose, but it's probably because you are his daughter, but not his flesh and blood. He should treat you just the same as his biological daughter - there shouldn't be a difference. If you notice it you should talk to him about it and ask him why he treats you both differently. Just be honest with him - he may not even realize that he is treating you both differently.

Maybe he doesn't want to step on your real dads toes, or maybe he thinks you think its not his place. It might be a case of treating boys and girls differently, my dad treats me and my bro differently (we are both his), but loves us equally.
