the damage is already done. Are you stupid??
You better hope that she's ok, or they might.
This is why stupid people should not have sex.

Sorry to say YES.The day you came to know you were pregnant you should have Quit Marijuan. This causes irreperable damage to the brain of the fetus as well as affect all system in the developpment stages. Most probably with a high percentage of course that your baby is already addicted to Marijuana because whatever you consume the baby get a dose of it.Do note this though if you keep continuing after today you are decreasing the life viabily of your child with every puff. You might want to pick something new instead of marijuana, religion because you are going to need all your faith to compensate for your babies well being

You'll keep your child. While pot is not a physically addictive drug (so your child will not be born a drug addict), I have not read any research on the possible effects of THC (the active ingredient of pot) on a developing fetus. Personally I see no harm in adults smoking pot on occassin HOWEVER you should have been much more concerned with your pregnancy. Anything you take into your body while pregnant goes through your babies system also. Life is hard enough as it is, why make it possibly harder for your child right from the start.

My friend just went through this and the Doctors all lied to her. Marijuana is so bad for the baby but we all make mistakes and when she had the baby, after telling her doctor and being totally honest with him, even though it was not in her or the baby's system, yes they took the baby away. It is a form of child abuse and you have to be careful what you tell your doctors these days because they will lie to you until the end. Your best bet, if you did tell him is to get a new onee and request your records. If it is written down anywhere, throw that sheet away.

Why would you do that to an unborn child? The residue of the marijuana will be in your uterus just like nicotine. You never should've fallen pregnant if you were not prepared to stop smoking when you found out you were pregnant. Your child did not ask to be born and life is hard enough without having to start out with your mother making bad choices for you. If you want to keep your child get regular drug tests to prove you are not using anymore then they can't take it away because you are straight.

If someone finds out they will. CPS will take your kid away faster then you can blink. Pot has horrible effects on prenatals. You're looking at the very least having a child that is going to have a tough time in school and perhaps even a birth defect. Think about the fact that you're controlling the events of someone else's life now...and stay off the pipe

No... but hopefully you straighten up and get your crap together NOW. I can't imagine that you will since weed isn't even a highly addictive drug or a hard one to come off of and it sounds like you quit just because you figured they'd take your baby away or throw your butt in jail, thats just very selfish. With a drug like weed you never know if it'll effect your baby, sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't.... but why take the chance? It's only 9 months.

They shouldn't take your child away. But they will be able to tell if there was drug use just by looking at the placenta.

If you stopped smoking it then it takes 30 days for pot to get out of your system.

Just say you didn't smoke pot....That it was from being around people that does.

I see why you asked that other ? about urine testing yes they do drug tests without you even know it cause they did me and seen i had valium in my system.

Marijuana is not an addictive substance, no matter what D.A.R.E. tells you. People get "addicted" to marijuana because they don't want to quit, not because the body craves it like cocaine or heroin. But smoking anything can rob the baby of oxygen, which is an extremely bad thing. The best thing for you to do is to stay off drugs, from now on. You may also want to share this info with your doctor to warn him that there may be complications when you deliver.

Its sad that you used pot to that point...but thank you for stopping when you did...atleast you did at some point....for some ppl, esp young girls the truth of their pregnancy doesnt happen right away..they dont grip the fact that their is a life inside of them until they begin to over show and for some showing comes late....thank goodness u stopped at some point...now try to be smarter and do everything that is the best for your baby...take some parenting classes and stay clean..this baby needs you so much inside of there and even more when they come out!!!

They wont take your baby away, but your baby is going to go through withdraws just like you do, you should have quit in the beginning of your pregnancy, but just do your best not to keep doing drugs, and you'll be fine. and some advice from me, grow up and stop doing drugs and take care of your baby the right way. you could have already harmed her, i pray to god you didnt though!
