Karl Marx was a man who was an idealist. He had a vision of a utopian society where everything was grand via socialism. Where everyone works for everyones' benefit. No individual rewards, everyone shares in the profits.
I would like to live in a society like that. However it is not possible. Because there is no individual benefit, there is also no individual incentive. One does 'just enough' to sustain. They don't do the little things, and sometimes the big things that make society thrive. Therefore society tends to be degrading instead of advancing. Don't get me wrong there will be technological advancements, but they will be slower to come, and many times just good enough. The ideal solution may not be found because the people have to 'work too hard' without benefiting from it. If you have any questions go ahead and email me with them.
