Can it get out easily? Make the crawl space undesirable and force the animal out. If not, contact animal rescue. You don't want dead sea otter funk under your house!

Good luck!

I think he's stuck down there or is hiding or something, you don't have to worry that much, if he's making a noise then go over there and help him get out but if there is a bunch of otters sticking around then you'd better stay away and try feeding them.

Let him be! Research sea otter diets or talk to a local zoo keeper and find out what is best for a sea otters diet. That is pretty awesome, most people don't even get bats in their attic!

Are you SURE it's a sea otter? They live mostly in the water after all. And DON'T feed it!! They have extremely sharp teeth and are very feisty, however cute. Call your vet or local wildlife rescue.

Sea otters are coastal, shallow water dwellers. Their habitat consists of two areas in these waters- the ocean floor where they find their food, and the ocean surface where they eat, groom, rest and social interactions occur.

That's impossible--they don't live on land. Perhaps it's a River Otter, but even that seems unlikely.

i think sea otters are an endangered species, i would check with the fish and game department or wildlife dept. but i would leave him if he's not harming anything. maybe he likes it there and feels safe.

Call the Wildlife department and ask them what you should do. You should be able to find a number in the telephone directory. If not call the closest Forest Service and they should be able to give you the number to call.
