your gonna need to define efficient.

while one that is a trained master in ninjitsu is capable of taking any life at any moment, they only defend themselves when provoked, or given a mission. The ninja definately has the stealth advantage, and while they may take much more time to track and dispose of their enemies, the deaths will be quick, quiet, and untraceable.

Whereas the Samurai were mainly used on a battlefield were killing is done en masse. The samurai may have more kills in a shorter period, the deaths will be much more brutal. The samurai also derived their strentgh from the numbers of samurai that were used during a battle.

I would have to give the upper hand to the Ninja. The lone ninja is a much more deadly entity than the lone samurai. I honestly believe that if it came down to Samurai vs. Ninja, 1 on 1, the Ninjitsu Master walks away from the fight, whereas the samurai is dragged.

Ninja, the main significant false impression that samurai experienced extra advantageous than ninja is misguided. Ninja experienced interior the iga section for long classes of time consisting of doing projects at the same time with residing of the land for months on end with in user-friendly terms some weapons in the beginning. while they have experienced adequate they then flow to wealthy prolonged family contributors leaders and say that they are experienced interior the artwork of ninjutsu and then they get employed. So the ninja and the samurai practice around the comparable volume however the samurai have get admission to to extra clever preparation and weapons however the commerce off is that the ninja get what ever weapons they locate clever at the same time with shriuken (ninja stars) at the same time as the samurai in user-friendly terms get spears, katanas, bow and arrows, a wakizashi, and a tachi. Ninja had many extra weapons that should attain farther distances like kunai knives or GUN POWDER weapons, yet they only had one katana. in this state of affairs the ninja is dropping an truly effective ambush element he nonetheless has deadlier weapons that could attain farther distances to weaken the samurai and kill him.

It would depend on the situation of the battle. A Ninja works best in secret and has little honor and few ideals. A Samurai is a more honorable fighter who will not give up until the end. Which would you choose?
