I think that the natural human evolution and desire of obtaining immortality will bring about the demise of the human species, when machines or bio chips are used instead of the collective intelligence of the human species. This is now starting to raise it's ugly head when we need calculators, computers, robots to do tasks for us because we consider them to be menial. So yes I think within 200 years Machines will be the victors of the planet. As we waste the resources, the planet itself has bee en forgotten and will fight back and humanity and organic life in all its frailty will not survive, except those who have implants and major introduction of machines to maintain life

Never. Engineers who design any machine always put in a "manual bypass" to the normal operation. Once there is an indication of "malfunction", the switch is flipped.
