how do i trace a 30 year old bank account?

the account was in my deceased great-grandfathers name but i was also named on the account. I have the account # and the bank book.

You have to send a signed letter to the bank asking for the account traces during the past 30 years.
You may need to go yourself to the bank

u can write a letter to bank manager stating this prob and he may be doing the needful for the same

you have to get in touch with your states abondoned property dept.
