I would choose cold. Your body can build up fat and burn calories and adapt to the cold much better than adapting to extreme heat.

Yes, alternating between both. Naked. No, with clothes. Wait, three rooms and 1 and a half bath with a breakfast nook and a plasma TV. And babes for room mates, I mean cell mates. and a motorcycle and a car and down the hall there would be this BITCHIN CLUB. Wow, I can see it now. Prison Jams. We would go on tour to other prisons like Cleveland and LA

Cold, because the body can shiver and move quickly to stay warm, as well as receive proper nourishment, but that's unlikely in prison. However, the body sweats to stay cool, and there's a limit to how much the human body can sweat, not to mention constant need for fluids when sweating.

I'd visit them both. When I got too hot, I'd go to the cold room and when I got cold, I'd go back to the hot room.
