Im not a huge hockey fan, but due to my canadian blood, something sparks in me which i must watch the Stanley Cup Finals. I was rooting for North Corolina, but those last 3 minutes, i wanted to see the Edmonton Oilers score, how intense was that? But when they pulled out their goalie i knew they were screwed... As for being a fan? No, i prefer the St. Louis Blues, and the L. A. Kings.

No way. I was a sudden fan of the Oilers for a bit there. I'm in Europe though, not a lot of hockey coverage especially with the Swiss soccer team rocking!

Next year it's the Habs!

No, I have always pulled for the Canes since I live in North Carolina, but never "got into" hockey til this past December when I went to a Hurricanes game for my nieces birthday. She is a huge Canes fan and told me if I ever saw a hockey game, I would get hooked and she is right. So, I guess you could say I have been a Hurricanes fan since December 05.

I appreciate seeing the North Carolina Hurricane's win their first Stanley Cup ... but I don't think they'll get my cheers next season (unless Patrick Roy comes out of retirement to play for them --- Hee-Hee: Ha-Ha).

Anyways, my hockey mania covers too many teams already: Ducks, Avalanche, & Penguins ... I should probably narrow my loyalties!!! But I love them all!!! Oh, well, who really care's? All hockey player are slutts and they'll be on a new team soon enough; especailly since the NFL has capped the salaries.

I am born and bred Canadian but my husband is from South Carolina. So we were voting for the Canes to win the Cup.

The Oilers have won it several times in a row and I thought it was nice to see another team get to cherish the Stanley Cup for a change.

PS - My team is Montréal Canadiens.

No, I've always loved the Canes... From the very beginning... I was at their first game in Raleigh, I was 7 then... And now, 7 years later, I can still say that I am a proud Canes fan...

Actually I have been cheering them on since the Confrence Finals. Don't ask me why I just have. Not really a fan of them even now, still a Penguins fan first.

Couldn't stand the Canes before, can't stand them now. More importantly, I hope Commodore gets run over by a zamboni. heh
