I have these tablets called "Micucal" that contain Dicalcium Phosphate, Zinc Gluconate, Calcium Citrate, Vitamin D3 and Magnezium Oxide (100mg), but I am not sure if this Magnesium Oxide has side effects or not (the bloody Web sense doesn't let me access the web sites that I need, that's why I am asking you).

Too much magnesium in the diet can make it difficult for your body to absorb calcium. On the other hand not enough magnesium can lead to irregular heartbeats, high blood pressure, insomnia and muscle spasms.

well one you spelled it wrong its Magnesium Oxide. It is used by many libraries for preserving/deacidifying books, and as an insulator in industrial cables. It is also used as a medication to relieve heartburn, sour stomach, or acid indigestion. Medical uses of Magnesium oxide also include using it as a short-term laxative, or used to supplement a diet with magnesium.

Magnesium oxide is used as a basic refractory material for lining crucibles.

My dad takes Magox 400 which is equivalent to Magnesium oxide. I don't think it's bad for you. He has high blood pressure and heart problem so he takes everyday; doctor recommended so I don't think it's harmful.
