The "H" - word which you are better off to totally eliminate from your vocabulary, destroys all the good in all people involved in this emotion. It definitely destroys and mind washes people under the influence of other people. This is why I don't support any form of organized religion anymore. I totally believe in God. I don't believe in what man has written about Him. Think about this; the Catholics, Protestants, Baptists, etc all "dislike" one another. Is that what God wants for us? NO!

I believe in the 10 commandments, but even the Bible (written by man and translated several times into several languages from the Latin it was originally written in) teaches us to form "opinions of difference" and cast out those who don't believe the same way.

Organized religion has been teaching us how to "H" - word other religions, which are not the one we follow for centuries. There have been wars faught over it. Opinion is the stain, the disease and the poison of the human mind and it drives us to judge, become angered and when you add anger and judgment together you get the "H" - word. So my answer is yes it's not only possible. It happens every day.

Sounds like woman has a problem. If she loved the man she would have loved the children equally and no divorce. So there is a lack of communication. Forget the woman. The two sisters should be friends and go from there.

There is a fine line between love and hate.
My mother always taught me that a person cannot hate unless love is involved. Otherwise they would just be indifferent. Hate takes a lot of energy and people don't just usually spend that amount of energy unless Love is involved.
So I don't know about Hate destroying a person's mind, but I know that Love can.

wow...definitely complicated. hate could drive someone to do that. i know it's horrible, but the majority of our society can be influenced by hare. for some, it even flares up intense anger. there are exceptions, of course. but still...there's that majority that overpowers the exceptions.
so i would say that there is a good chance, unfortunately, that hate could influence someone to destroy another's mind. especially if it involved jealousy or it was somehow otherwise provoked.

HATE... one four-letter word that unfortunately is part of our vocabulary and alive in our culture. Wish there was a button to delete the word. You see what I am driving at: hate is a destroyer. When conceived and planted in the mind, It destroyed the carrier.

To answer you: yes, anyday, and the sad thing is, even those who do not try to destroy anothers mind end up doing it because they project their hate onto the children...

If she physically abused the child, he would have a good case for custody especially if it was his child. I don't know that the case you cite is realistic.
