The US Constitution, as amended, expressly forbids any person from serving more than two terms as President. As such, President Bush will no longer be President when the President Elect takes office January of 2008. I highly doubt very many people would support Bush in violating the Constitution to declare himself a permanent leader.

It's possible that the war in Iraq could escalate, and another war could start in Iran. Being the cowboy that he is, Bush believes everything can be resolved with guns and ammo.
I wouldn't put it past this moron to try and get the Supreme Court to keep him in office for the sake of 'continuity' until the 'war on terrorism' ends. After all, he manipulated the election with the help of the Supreme Court; there's no reason to believe he won't try it again!
