Just some thoughts. Perhaps, you could use some of my speech with what you already have.
"We started as two, (who heads your family tree. Perhaps, you could say their names here_______________). Now, we've grown to (put a number here of all the family members____________). Over time, we've loved, we've lost, we've laughed, we've cried. We rise, we fall, we swim and we sink together. We are the __________ family, and here's a toast to our family past (perhaps you could ask the old heads to stand up) present (the young adults in the family) and future (any new babies? Have their mommies hold them up). Today, we honor each and every one of you. Thank you for building the strong roots that support our family tree, and bless the new generation of branches that are forming. We love you and God Bless."
Then ask the guests to be seated and have a good time.

If a speech is in order for a family reunion then this must be a very elaborate reunion?
Topics to include at a family reunion would be:
Reminiscing of family traditions.
The presence of NEW family additions.
The absence of a very loved family member.
The subject of Bonding (mention keeping in touch)
Announce that you or someone has started a family tree.
Start a website of your family and asked for everyone to visit it
and add their fondest memory of past reunions.
Or liven the event up with a family trivia, hosted by YOU.
or whoever correctly answers the question gives the next
question.

You could research your family's coat of arms and motto and give a speech explaining it and tell some family stories that you know that relate to it. ie- if it has something in it about bravery you could tell the story about Uncle fighting in the war.
And make color copies or buttons of the coat of arms and hand them out.

you ever seen Lord of the Rings? i'd use Bilbo's going away speech as a template and edit it a little... (but maybe that's just me)
