The outfit you have picked out sounds amazing, but do NOT wear open toed shoes. It's considered unprofessional and I know of several employeers that will cut the interview short and not even give you a chance if they see something like that. Remember you only get a first impression during interviews. Other things to consider...make sure you're nails have either no or a neutral colored paint on them, no chips. Keep make-up and hair simple and little to no jewelry. Good Luck!

Hey honey, are you certain what job you're applying for there, for sure? I worked at a porn shop, and unless you wrote "sales associate" in the desired position(no pun intended) area, you may be interviewing for a job cleaning the viewing booths, and in that case, open toe shoes would be a health hazard. Look, the last thing any adult wants when venturing out to the porn store after midnight is someone behind the counter who assumes anything about human sexuality, so forego the stripper shoes and treat this job with the respect it deserves, dress appropriately. Go there clean, professional, and intelligent, no open toe heels.

You can wear them if you want to save money and don't want the job. Get smart and invest in a good pair of black business pumps. Get an expensive pair. People can tell cheap shoes. Look upon it as a business investment. When you get the job, the cost will be peanuts and you will be wearing the shoes to work. Only strippers wear shoes with wrap around straps to work. They are fine for casual wear, but not work. You don't think an interviewer would pay attention to your shoes. Don't kid yourself. These guys are 20 years older than you and far more conservative. They know how to evaluate people. I'm a guy and I know more about the right footwear for women than some of the bimbos who answered your question. I give you credit. You had the sense to ask. If you are desperate for money, buy some cheap pumps from Payless. Read the Dress for Success book written many years ago. Good luck, let us know if you get the job.

Definitely you can't go wrong with a pointy toe shoe with a little kitten heel in navy/ black/ dark chocolate.
Having on open toed shoes is just not professional looking though depends on job you're applying for. Some companies are quite flexible in office dress codes.
Good Luck!

Get a new pair of shoes. You can wear the open toe ones when you get the job. First impressions make a big difference, especially at a job interview.

NO!! NO NO NO NO!!! I've been to several workshops on job interviews and I've heard it's not appropriate. I'd rather be safe than sorry. Find a pair that are closed toe shoes, and good luck at the interview!!

The ones you have with the straps are more for evening out, and you wearing a nice dress ,with guy for dinner date .Yes closed toe with low heel.....
I know, I know I'm a guy.....but I have had to chose shoes before for the wife and even had to dress her just because of her shoes.
This being a job interview for you;you would want to look a bit conservative.

I think a closed toed shoe is better body language, it show's you are so ready to walk and walk far to get to the top...open toed shoes have a way of just not having the whole look down...I watch "what not to wear" a lot, when possible and the dressed up suits just look more put-to-gether with an enclosed shoe, good luck

Well no one would accuse me of being a fashion queen, but closed-toed mules/heels are considered the most appropriate with business wear. With what you are wearin, black, closed-toe shoes would be best. Save the strappy stuff until you HAVE the job.
