how can i tell if someone is using a cellphone or a pc when online, sending IM?

If you are using AIM there should be a little icon to the left of their name that is the picture of a cellphone, if they are using a sidekick on their buddy info it will show "via Hiptop" but some users have the option to always appear to be looked as on a PC when they are using a cellphone enabled with AIM.
