No it is not hard if you work and pay attention in class. But the big thing about middle school is that it is one big soap-oppera, that u don`t want to be caught in. Also you don`t want to have boys, friends, or other stupid things get in your way at school, I mean its ok to have a bf or crush and it is ok to hang with friends at lunch or a break, but DO NOT obsess over a boy or be to caught up in passing notes in class to not pay attention. As for the homework thing I don`t think I get to much of it but hey if you don`t do the work then yeah it is going to pile up and become over wellming. BUT THE NUMBER 1 RuLE TO SERVIVING MIDDLE SCHOOL IS............don`t let your social life or bf life interfer with your school work, and that family matters alwase comes before school. One last thing before i go, It is ok if you are not popular or if you are a nerd, geek, loser. Just don`t aim for slut, hore, or anything else that is like that. Try to be nice to everyone (even your teachers, Just don`t become teaches pet too much) I know it is REALLY, REALLY, REALLY, hard to be nice to everyone but it will more then likely pay off. And i would know all this stuff, because i just left the 7th grade and am going into the 8th grade at Sequoia Middle School in Redding, CA.

middle school is pretty fun its really good to meet friend and stuff cuz you have more than 1 class. I will tell you tho your new school maybe confusing to get around, just like n e new school tho, just hope its not a circle ish thing like mine was. N e way, i would suggest not ditching sure its fun but then u have to go back to class and u have no idea wats going on. ummmm o and in school suspension sux if u ditch too. 8th graders can b nice maybe not. ummm teachers arent as nice n e more but you will get used to it, trust me they dont hate u, usually. haha n e way Lunch will probabley b a lil boring if ur used to swinging or climbing on stuff that doesnt exist n e more and well lockers r evil. But yes to answer your question finally haha there is more homework and it is harder but thats cuz ur older its not as bad as everyone makes it out to be i promise

im going into 8th grade so i just experienced 7th grade.(lucky for you.) when i started 7th grade, i was scared, nervous, but excited. the 8th graders were so smart and knew what they were doing. i had no clue. i got lost to all my classes, went into the wrong classroom one time, dropped my books on the stairs (and its almost impossible to pick them up there because people keep walking and you cant just stop or you'll get squished) but other then that i had a great time! on the 2nd day everything went alot smother. i got to all my classes on time and never dropped my books again! i made so many new friends and my teachers were soooooooooo nice! especiall my history and french teachers. and yes there is alot of homework. i had homework everyday from every teacher. (not really but you get my drift) it took my forever to finish it but that was only for math and science. im horible when it comes to that. i could never get all my homework done and do as many clubs as i wanted to do, so i had to quit some clubs. i hope you do well and im wishing you luck. beware of the 8th graders. i never really talked to them because i was afraid of being beat up but if you do talk to them, don't annoy them because they will gang up on you. trust me on this. one day i saw some nerd an my ex fighting and these skaterboys came from out of nowhere and started standing up for the nerd and beating up my ex. and they didn't even know who the nerd was! GOOD LUCK!!!!!!!!!

middle school is like all those descriptions in the Iliad of people getting stabbed by a spear in the groin and having it come out their stomach and dying slowly. Just kidding, i actually didn't go to middle school so i have no idea. i would assume it is like anything else, it is waht you make of it.
