Get cremated like I'm going to do. Going up in a flame is much better than being worm food. Don't worry so much about stuff you can't control- try enjoying your life while you're living it.

You are body, soul, and spirit. Your body only has so many years that it's good as a container for the rest of you. You may have it longer if you take care of it. Your soul is the blank slate given to you by your creator. It's your intellect, the sum of all your experiences, the book written by pen of your life. Your spirit is the part of you that can experience what is beyond ourselves, in the realm of God or the realm of darkness. Only the body, the used up container, goes into the ground, returns to dust. The rest of you will live for eternity somewhere. God gave us the years of this life to decide where. Decide, and enjoy your journey, the time is too short to waste it on fearful thoughts.

Sounds like your asking what happens to your body after your dead.. I have thought about that quite a bit also.. Well I have been a commercial fisherman for quite some time, and probably will be till I die, the ocean has been very good to me and all I really have to offer it is myself, So in other words.. I would rather the crabs get me than be buried or burned. But don't let the thought of what happens bother you, Your Spirit has left and gone to heaven.

You have nothing to fear, except mans interpetation of Hell. Friend, nobody is going to burn in hell. People have got it in their mind that there is a place where you will burn, stay burning forever. If you had children, as we are to God, would you burn them for not being able to make a wise choice? C'mon people wake Up!!! It is pretty much a scare tactic. I know what it says in the Bible. If you all had it figured out, why do you argue amongst yourselves, about it, to see who is right. It makes sense that there is indeed a plan for us, Jesus showed us examples to follow. Even that its possible to be alive again. we are not going to be flying around singing all day either. Also just as DNA is being used today, we know nothing about DNA. We think we are so smart. Dont you think there is a creator that is smarter than us, that can recreate us, "Not even a Hair will be lost" including our soul back into our body. Jesus did come back alive and is alive today. Even though he suffered for our sins greatly, he paid the price for everybody. That means you! He did walk in the Americas as well. The Book of Mormon my friend is another testiment of Jesus as well as the Bible and they go hand in hand.
It is proof that Jesus indeed walked in the Americas. The Book of Mormom was translated by a young adult with a third grade education, who could barely read or write. That's what is so amazing, and he translated it from ancient plates and another person wrote down what he translated. There is not one person alive today who can write a book that would even begin to be anything like it. Because they can't. See the missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. They will be happy to answer your questions with no obligations. Remember that a Christian is a follower of Christ. Christians are not to judge. Ask yourself what would Jesus do. He would say " Come! Be not afraid and follow me!" When you read the Book of Mormon, you can then pray to Heavenly Father with pure intent and ask him if it is true or not. You will get an answer. One that gives you peace of mind.
Dont worry! I used to worry about dying as you do. Thats all behind me now. Thats because it all makes sense now. Enjoy!

Try thinking about other places for you remains to be. Cremation is one. Maybe a ceremonial ritual. I think Indians were the ones who placed your body on top of a bunch of brush and branches, floated you out to sea and sot an arrow out onto your grave. then your remains would be burned and it's actually not as bad as being just thrown in some dumb box. There are so many other possibilities. Besides your body is just a shell for your soul. ...---Siren

I'm gonna get my handsome self frozen, placed in a capsule, stored under a mountain in the hope that someday in the future, the scientifically gifted descendants of the Swedish Bikini Team will revive me and we all live together on a tropical island. (And the Phillies will still have one world series championship to their credit.)

I don't think your fear is unusual, but why waste living worrying about dying or death. We tend to fear the unknown more than anything else. Your physical body is only vessel which carries you through this life. You are looking at being dead and buried as though you would see and feel and sense things as if you were alive. Your spirit lives on, but your physical body will die, and the body is what is buried... Please don't waste your life on fearing the affects of death on your body...because if we spend our lives consumed with death...then we may as well be dead already..

Well I believe you go to Heaven or hell. If you are not saved and you don't believe in God and his wonderful love then you will die and go to hell and yes that should scare you. I was saved by my heavenly Father who loved me and everyone sooo much that he sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins. If that isn't the best then I don't know what is. If you have question like that you should see a pastor to help you or maybe go to a church near by your house. I pray you find your way.

You are not in a hole. You are with Our Lord, if you choose to be and ask him to walk with him in his love and light. Stop focusing on the dark and start living

Who gives a rat`s a**, your dead. By the time you die, you will have spent approx. 1/3 of your life in a semi-dead state called sleep, you are just taking that to it`s logical conclusion, death.
