You need to tell us what color eyes you have and what kind of skin tone you have. Also tell us if you want it to look natural or something a little more noticeable.
Okay, if your eyes are blue then you should try shades in the purple family because it will make your eyes look bluer. You can also use gray shadow. Go with trying shades of purple, like lavender and violet. You can use violet in the crease and lavender as a highlight shade. You should also try browns, like a taupe color. Peach shades will work well for you, along with champagne and sand colors.
Don't ever wear blue eye shadow though....you should never wear the same color eyeshadow as your eyes.

I have blue eyes as well and blondish-brownish hair and the rule of thumb for us is usually that lighter shades of violet and purple go best with blue eyes. But more than likely you're not going to want to wear purple eyeshadow for the rest of your life and you'll want to add some variety. This might sound kind of boring but brown shades work really well with blue eyes. To make this more exciting though you can use metallic browns with gold undertones. I highly recommend the MAC eyeshadow in Tempting. It's gorgeous. Just layer it on your eyelid up to your crease and then swipe a neutral shade in an ivory color under your eyebrow to highlight your eyes. You can even incorporate the purple into this look by wearing the Tempting with an eggplant colored eyeliner. Line the top and bottom lids with an eggplant liner and you'll be getting compliments all day on how blue your eyes are. Trust me, I've used this combination many times and it always gets noticed.

I have blue eyes too, and I use lots of pinks, browns, pinkish purples, subtle greens and smoky blacks, and different shades of blue work really well to. For eye shadows that work well with you, the way you look and who you are all depends on the that you apply the shadow. For instance, I have a fair skin tone with dark brown hair and blue eyes, for an everyday look I usually use pink and brown, now if I am going out somewheres and not to work I usually use something darker to accentuate the eyes and make them pop, which means I mix a lot of the colors that I mentioned above.
All in all I say that you have to experiment for yourself and see what works best for you, your skin and your personality. Since I also have blue eyes I offered you some examples that work for me but you may find something totally different that works for you, anyway just have fun with it.

A lot of the make-up websites have virtual models that you can pick your complexion and hair and eye color to see what you like on similar faces to yours. Blue eyes honestly go with a lot of different colors. I've always thought that when my friends with blue eyes wear different shades of blue eyeshadow (not at one time, maybe 2 or 3 max) really made their eyes stand out. Light Blue is really pretty and really makes your eyes POP! Tans are always a reliable color. Tan, brown, purples, greens. Really Anything. Blues, Purples, Browns, and Tans are the best. IT really depends on your complexion too.
CoverGirl and MaryKay have really good virtual make-up salons to try different colors.

For blue eyes....your eye liner could be warm brown or taupe, although any neutral shade will work. Eye shadow should be rich warm browns, warm taupes and soft peaches. Never match your eye shadow to your eye color, or to your clothes. Makeup is an accessory to YOU, not your clothes. I wouldn't suggest blue eye shadow with blue eyes...your goal is to make your eye color "pop" or stand out, not compete with or dimish your natural color. The key is to pick a color that's the opposite of your own eye color.

If you have brownish blondish hair you cant go wrong with browns and golds. Cover your eyelid in light brown and then put a darker brown in the corners of your eyes, it makes you eyes look bigger and more sexy!

You would look really good with browns for daily wear and gray/blues for a fancier look. Browns will make your eyes look natural and gray/blues make blue eyes pop. Try to stay way from really bright colors they will only distract from your eyes since you have a more natural coloring.

I would suggest going to Famous Barr or some department store with a beauty section. I know Famous Barr for sure gives you one free make over type session where they will tell you what colors go best with you. That is what I did, but I don't know where you are from and if you have access to such a store.

light browns or neutral colors would probably look best, buy the colors that come together they will match together, put the darker on the bottom lid, an the lighter above, forget about the blues, pink etc. unless You really like that.
