Yes the ancient Sumerian gods were visiting the Americas, but it wasn't astral projection, they were aliens that came to earth and were worshiped as gods by many cultures, the Sumerians, Babylonians, Mayans, Greeks, Romans, Egyptians, they were the ones that rode in the celestial boats of heaven and in the fiery chariots in the sky. I think this is also what Eric Von Danikin's book was referring to. And the Naska lines along with the Giza pyramids in Egypt were landing markers, or directional indicators.

Well, don't tell anyone, but the Naska Indians had really REALLY poor handwriting. They all got "Ds" in handwriting in Naska gradeschool.
The only way they could draw anything halfway intelligible was to make it very big. Even then, those shapes are only approximations of what they are supposed to represent.

The one fella got it correct, the indigenous people of that area where being visited by our ancestors(Sumerian's) who are superior in intellect and technology. As they continue today.
As these traveler's flew about the people felt need to communicate by whatever means possible.

eventually these travelers decided to visit and play God. the people were eventually enslaved by them for mining, mating and whatever else. In return the travelers had given them basic knowledge of running water for bathing washing, growing gardens and knowledge of things to come, such as the conquest of the Spanish Conquistadors, which gave the Maya time enough to not only prepare for that event but also to hide the enormous amount of gold and silver items. (some say the stash is in Wisconsin) i digress. but these lines were made to attract those who flew in those wonderful sky chariots. And no matter what anybody else tells you different it would be disinformation.
Have you heard and seen the great wall of Peru? really kool.

The newest theory I heard, which I really liked, is that they are actually huge maps of underground water ways--that's the various straight lines. The pictures are the names of those rivers. Some guy who works in a sewer system somewhere thought they looked just like a map of underground water systems and did some research and they do match up with underground waterways.

imagine if a skill you learned in shamanism or in magick or witchcraft that you could learn was to leave your physical body behind and travel using your pure spirit only what would be a good way for the instructors to test the applicant to see if they actually accomplished the travel and not just talked about it? seems to me if you absolutley had to be way up to see these art forms and if a student came back and accurately described this art work then a instructor would be assured the student had accomplished the goal of travelling where a physical body could not.
