Kerosene is just a step up from diesel. Kero is refined a little more so it burns cleaner. I dont know what your running Kero in but #2 diesel should be fine. DONT used gasoline. Diesel or kero engines work on HIGH combustion pressure and temps high enough that gasoline would detonate long before the piston hit top dead center.

You can add a small amount of Kero or diesel to gasoline like maybe 8 ounces to 20 gallons of gas it will prevent some preignitionand increse lubricity but it's not what you really want

Been cleaning high compression hot rod engines with kerosene for years, not as a mix though, that is a no no.

yes it affect's the engine because on mixing kerosene with gasoline or diseal it lowers the efficiency of the engine as it has low calorific value
