It might sound crazy, but a second hand book.
I love reading and I have this obsession with old books. I love the smell of them and the way the pages have yellowed a bit, it reminds me of being a child in a library.
The best presents are not the ones that cost the most money, but the ones that bring out a part of you that is your happiness.

For my 21st birthday, my Mom & Dad gave me a necklace holding a British coin that a nurse had given my Mom the day I was born for good luck. It was the first sentimental gift they had ever given me.

And then one Christmas my Dad gave me a toolbox full of tools. It showed that he finally accepted the fact I could be a lady and also be mechanically inclined. (I LOVE tools!)

Okay I will try and make this short.

Before the start of my Senior year, me and this guy I went to school with became really good friends. We'd flirt, hang out, flirt, you know we'd do all thoes silly things people do when they like each other but don't want to say anything. We spent majority of the summer together.

My birthday is in September, and by this time school had already started. We shared the last class of the day together, so we would walk to our cars after class.
Our last class was like 2 hours becase the class was split by lunch. You'd go to class for about 20mins than go to lunch for 45 mins and then back to class.

Well this day was my birthday and he had already told me happy birthday and for me, thats enough I'm happy and all excited to hear someone tell me that. While we were in class he told me that him and another friend were going off campus for lunch, I remember telling him to not get caught.
(He didn't get caught for skipping school lunch)

When class was over, we walked out to the parking lot to our cars and I noticed a car with balloons on it. As we got closer I realized it was my car. On my car, someone had written Happy Birthday on the windows and tied balloons to the attena and rear view mirrors. My first thoughts were, "OMG that is so sweet." "Is that really my car?", As I got closer to my car I seen that their was a present in the front seat. I said to him "How in the hell did they get the present in my car I locked the doors," when I went to go for my keys, he pulled them out of his pocket and said " It's easy, when you have the keys to the car." I was shocked, I didn't know what to think. As I went for my keys out of his hand he huged me and gave me a kiss and said "I'd do anything for a girl as special as you". Then I kissed him and told him thank you.
