I assume by memory you are talking about memory not hard disk storage space. If your memory is low then the only way to really fix it is by buying more memory. However you can remove some programs from your startup list which will free up more memory for other programs to use.

If you are talking about your hard disk storage space then you should run the system cleanup utility, and running disk defragmenter never hurts. However if you really need more space then you should buy another hard drive, or upgrade the one you have. Hard drives are not very expensive, so this shouldn't be a problem. However you proably can free up enough space buy deleting some either old programs or old files.

get more ram if thats the memeory u talking bout. If its virtual memory, you can increase it by going to system properties and something, i dont have win 2000 anymore.

Try defragmenting your PC. It woud speed up your PC up to 24%.

Other options: Try burning all those porn flicks, cookies and DIYs into a CD. Save up more space. Haha

scan disk and defrag...that frees up some memory...also get a decent system optimizer...like window washer or advanced system optimizer

get more RAM also increase your virtual memory to the max and quit (at least while you dont need them) memory hogging programs/proccesses

Close several of your applications and run only the applications you need. Also, clear out your Internet cache.

you can put a program on called Menturbo. It helps recover RAM while your on the computer.
