Although I'd love to tell you the best choice is Black so are half of the answers here!
It's safe but B-O-R-I-N-G =)
With Khaki you could actually work with a wide color palette because Khaki's such a versatile color.
Pair it with Pink, Red, Lilac, White, Orange (yes, that's right), Navy (if you must), Dark Chocolate for that contrast and believe it or not Grey.

Since it's summer time try a coral color. Also try a sage green, dusty blue, black or white (if it's not overwhelming, they tend to look to flat), certain pinks can work as well. Steer clear from brown, it's to similar a color. Gray, Purple, Red or Yellow just look funny

Detemine the color of the shirt according to the season and the occasion . however white or any other light coloured shirt should look good.

Without a doubt a light blue oxford shirt. If you want to be more adventurous, make it a striped oxford.

If you're pale, go with navy blue. If you are tan or dark skinned, wear white.
