Anytime is a good time to invest in mutual funds, if you take the SIP route.A SIP allos you to benefit from Rupee cost averaging, which means you buy more units when the markets are down & similarly you buy less units when the markets are over-heated.

Choose a good fund based on your risk profile.

Your fund should be a 4 or a 5 ranker.

All the best.

For investing in mutual funds, there is no right time period. Any period is always good provided, you know, 1) how long you are going to stay invested, 2) you know how much volatility you can tolerate and 3) you have chosen the right product.

Make sure you do the Rupee cost averaging by investing through SIP/RIP's so that you have investment plan and stick to that and avoid the lump sum investment during any period.

Good luck.

It's never the right time to invest! - Just start with a little amount and invest constant a little amount over a long period. That's the best and safest way to invest.

Good luck! :-)

Absolutely. If you look at investing as a long term commitment then now is always a better time then later.

Historically the worst month (when stocks are at their lowest) is October, which means you want to buy then. January is historically the best month (when they are at their highest), which means you don't want to buy then.
