I had a chance to travel there and I just fell in love with the country and the amazing spirit of the people - everyone had such hope and a real purpose in their actions... I miss it!

I was there for two months - I traveled all around the country I started in Cape Town and went all the way up the coast to finally end my trip in Jo'burg....then flew back to Cape Town one more time...( Kulula rocks!)
I hiked Table Mountain, Lions Head, and part of the Otter Trail. Some of the most beautiful places were near Tsikama and the coast in the Transkei....my favorite spot was Bulungula - a Xhosa village not close to anything except heaven - It was gorgeous and so amazing.
I also loved the cities...Cape Town was where I made the most friends, Durbs was cool, and I wasn't able to stay in Jo'burg long enough to tell...
I will certainly be back - hopefully next summer (winter for SA)when I can stay for another 2 months ( lucky teacher gig I've got here...)

I love South Africa as well! I was born in South Africa and i still live here and it is wonderful! I'm glad you also love South Africa and it is really good to hear some positive feed back from you! You should come around to South Africa more often and explore the whole country. A lot of people miss S.A. and i don't blame them because it is a good country with wonderful people and it makes it even better when people with a heart like you come around.

It's so good to hear someone give such positive news about South Africa. I'm South African but I live in AUstralia now (and you can't compare Australia to South Africa.) S.A. is much more beautiful. We South Africans really have something to be proud of, and it makes it a lot better when someone like you gives some positive news about South Africa. I love that country so much and am proud to say I'll never change from being a true South African. The other day I went to a South African festival, it didn't make me feel at home...it made me WANT to go home! Glad to hear good news from you! Peace to all my fellow South Africans! Stay true to your South African-ness!

I do. It's the best place in the world between the people and it's beauty it doesn't get any better then South Africa. I'd do anything to go back there. I lived there most of my life and I had the best time ever.

Thanks for asking something positive in this category. I love SA just as much. I am South African, but live abroad. Me and my family go home every year and, every time we go back, we fall in love with our beautiful country all over again.
Cape Town,South Africa is considered one of the 5 most beautiful places on earth and South Africa is a "must see" in every travel agent's book.

I am from S.A currently living in Chile, what i miss the most is the great Kalahari, the sunset, the animals and the rich culture! And of course the food! By the way I opened a S.A restaurant here in Chile and people love the food!
