Cam Ward, and whoever said that he didn't deserve it was CRAZY!! In game 6 the score should have been like 8 to 0 but Cam pulled us through... He was the only person on the Carolina Hurricanes team that played well throughout the entire Carolina/Edmonton series.... He made incredible saves and was in the zone. especially in game 7 last night... Would I liked to have seen Brind'Amore get it? Yes of course, but I think that Cam Ward played hard and earned that recognition...

The trophy is for excellence over the entirety of the playoffs, not just the final series or the final game. Brind'Amour, Stillman and Staal all may have deserved it. But Ward made some absolutely ridiculous saves during the run and never gave up a stupid goal.

The goalie for the Cane's Cam Ward. Not real deserving since, he was not the sharpest in the last two games. He was pulled a few times through out other series. I would have voted for Stall or Stillman.

It should have been Rod Brindamour or Cory Stillman. Cam Ward was huge for Carolina in the Buffalo series. He didn't play that well in this series with the exception of a few other games, but hey, I am not in charge of the selection.
