I thought is was a well fought out battle. The both teams played really well. But Carolina had it in the bag. I feel bad for all you people that made bets on the oilers. I tried to tell you!!!!!!!!!

I wish I had bet on the OILERS getting to game 7.
If I had made that bet at the beginning of the playoffs I would be RICH!

Are you kidding me that its bad sportsmanship? This isn't a game of Ping Pong or Tennis. This is the Stanley Cup. The one and only worthwhile trophy for hockey. Do you know how pumped those guys are? The Stanley Cup is the most fought after trophy in sports. No other trophy can compare to it. As for betting, I live in Canada and I made a boatload on the Hurricanes with some saps taking the Oilers just because they are a Canadian team. It was a well played series, but Carolina was just a little bit better. Thats what happens when you embarrass a team like Edmonton did in game 6.

I did have a bet - that the Cup would go to game 7. I won. Now, Carolina outplayed the Oilers last night, plain and simple. I am not now, and never will be, a Carolina fan. I used to live in Cary, NC and still will not be a Carolina fan. They did deserve the win.

Spirits were getting kinda low here in NC for a bit after game 6, but I knew our boys wouldn't let us down... I think we deserved to win, and I think that it was good for our community for us to get such a big win. We've had such bad press and had our community get so divided over everything in Durham that's happening with Duke lax, and I'm just so happy that we have something that we can celebrate together as a state and as a community... Is anybody going to the parade in Raleigh???

The game was fun...but I was really dissapointed at how the Canes reacted...after they won the game, they didn't go to shake Edmonton players' hands, but instead went to go get their interviews FORCING Edmonton players to remain on the ice for 30 more minutes...very bad sportsmanship...I would cry if I was Edmonton in that situatoin
