i'm a guitar instructor, and i've played in bands and i do recording for ppl. this house has a barn attached to the back that has a PERFECT layout for a studio. thats what attracted me my home.
the rest of the house is cool too. its not too big, not too small, right near a school, and a state police barracks. quite street, the yard is pretty cool, with a perfect little spot for me to have my salsa garden. good parking, easy layout to control the snow (here in MA we tend to get a lot of it). we're a few minutes from the highway, about 15 minutes from where both my girlfriend and i work, and we have a few friends that live less than a minute from here........ and theres a pretty good chinese buffet about 3 minutes from here. lol. thats important to me. hahahaha

the house IS a fixer upper though, but i come from fix-it type ppl. my dad and i have redone all the plumbing, put in a new furnace, made one of the extra rooms into the laundry room, and we're in the process of redoing the entire kitchen. there will be work to do for the next few years, but all the structural things are done already.

i've been here less than a year, but the other day i went and visited my grandmother's house (i pretty much grew up there) and i realized something.... lol. kinda funny what put it in place. but i realized i wasnt as comfortable in her bathroom as i was in the one in my home. i realized that this house has become my home. lol, a lot of work to be done, but it's all mine, and i wouldnt trade it.

i was living with a friend that was so incredibly messy (i still love the friend...but) i just couldn't stand it anymore. i cleaned my portion but it was just filthy in his, i couldn't walk around anymore without my socks getting dirty and there were tuna cans everywhere. it got to the point where it smelled unpleasant when you walked through the front door. then my best friend and i saw this beautiful forgotten spanish apartment in the middle of the city and we moved in within days.

I couldn't stand living with my family anymore. That, and I almost froze to death waiting on the bus (seriously), so moving closer to school stopped that from happening again. And, I wanted to live with my boyfriend.

Couldn't take the cold weather, bad school system, and just couldn't take the city life anymore. Love my new location, beach is my front yard, intracoastal is my back yard. This is the life!
