Do you have math in school , 3/8 = 6/16 so 7/16 would be taller by 1/16

First make the denominators equal, and by doing so multiply 8 by 2 so both are 16.
Second whatever you do to the bottom you must do to the top so 3x2 is 6
Third compare
6/16 7/16
Well 7 is bigger then 6 by one so 7/16" is taller then 3/8" by 1/16".
