First you need to see how much fat you have -- go running or do cardio to burn fat.
Then you have to do sit-ups -- lots of them -- no need any equipment...just lie on the floor and do it!
If you want something effective, then get an exercise ball -- it helps with strengthening and challenges the body more.
Having fab abs is not easy and it takes work but doesn't have to be expensive!

your overall body fat + exercise & diet is the best indicators of how well you are going to develop your abs... most ppl only concentrate on 1 or 2 areas ie., doing ex without proper diet, or vice versa. in addition to this, you must do aerobic type activities and drink plenty of fluids - assisting in lypolysis. and if you want a faster way, go and get some pills off the internet. they have lots of health products at 88db, and they come relatively at a lower price than retail. good luck and remember nothing great comes easy in life :)

Sit ups for upper abs, leg lifts for lower abs. There is also a great dvd for abs, 8 min abs, about 10 bucks, that gives a nice program to follow every day for 8 min. If followed, you do see and feel results.

Good old fashion exercises. Sit ups, push ups, jogging, walking. Stop drinking the six packs.

Sit-ups and crunches...lots of them. Usher apparently did like 500 crunches every night to get his six-pack.

At least 24 sit-ups a day, plus cardio (run around your block) to burn off the fat on your tummy.
