The theme song was sung by the family pop group The Cowsills for the first season. A new version done by The Charles Fox Singers starting in the second season carried on for the remainder of the series, as well as on all episodes in syndication.

Good question, my hubby said the same thing...but if you think about it back in the day it was like buying a set, with TVs being so big and the small screen with all that wood around it...lol..

I remember it being the Cowsills and I watched that show all the time. Wish it would come on TV Land.

i don't kow but i loved that show!!! i was about 9 or 10 when it was on and my mom thought it was vulger and didn't want me to watch it
