What exactly does this mean? I was told my cervix is facing the inner wall. Does this mean I cant have children? I so badly want a child or two. It saddens me if this may be the case. Can someone enlighten me on this subject

My sister was told the same thing, They tried for 10 years then BAM!!! she now has 5 kids!!! don't give up!! Keep you legs elevated for at least 5 minutes after intercourse!! She also took Clomid, which is an ovulation inducer! It only takes 1 swimmer to find the right entrance!! Good luck!! As for carrying the baby to term, they can give you a cervical serclause( not sure how to spell it) its like a drawstring around the cervix

My mother and I both have a tilted cervix. My mother had three children and I have two. It took my mother years to get pregnant but she finally figured out that she had to be on top are all of the sperm ran out. I just did that when we decided we wanted kids and got pregnant fast. You might want to try it.

I had cervical cancer and lost 95 percent of my cervix and the doc told me I would never have children again 4 years ago.....I now have a 3 year old running around the house......If God wills that you have a child, there isn't a doc in the world that can say you can't get pregnant......Keep the faith, girlfriend.....It happens all of the time!!!!!!! Good Luck!!!!!!!

Do not believe anything that you hear about that one. Mine is twisted and has been for 10 years and 3 kids later. You can still get pregnant and I never had a problem doing so. My Dr. said that just because it is tilted or twisted means nothing, it is a wivestale and you should not believe any part of that one

Hi. Having a "tilted cervix" (or uterus) has nothing to do with being able to get pregnant or being able to carry to term. It is simply a description of the position of the cervix relative to your body.

Your physician may have mentioned this while struggling to find your cervix during a routine exam. I would mention your concerns to your physician and see if he/she can address your concerns regarding fertility.

Rule of thumb: If your menstrual blood can get "out" during your cycle, sperm can most definitely get "in" and you can most definitely become pregnant.

If you are having difficulty conceiving, this is worth a discussion with your doctor. In general, you'll need to check to make sure you are ovulating(many ways to do this...check your basal body temps, urine ovulation predictor kits, mid-phase progesterone level), that your partner has adquate sperm (best done with a semen analysis), and that your uterus and tubes are normal (best done with a test called a HSG-hysterosalpingogram).

It means you have less than a 5% chance of being able to conceive, let alone carry a baby to term.
