Neither. Native Americans were there first and they have the right to the land. And if they're smart, they will destroy all of the holy sites belonging to both the Israeilis and the Palestinians so there will be nothing left to fight over except a heap of dirt. The result? Peace in the middle east.

The area was a desert wasteland before Jews starting coming back in large numbers in the 19th century.
They bought up the swamps and desert and really did make it bloom.
Jews have been living in the land of Israel for over 3,000 years. In fact, Jews have a good argument that no other national group in the world has a claim to a piece of land stronger than the Jewish claim to Israel!
Look at it historically, legally, morally, religiously...They all work in supporting the Jewish right to their homeland.
The invention of the "Palestinians" in the 1960s was merely a tool created by the world to fight Jewish independence. Or, in their own words:
"The Palestinian people does not exist. The creation of a Palestinian state is only a means for continuing our struggle against the state of Israel for our Arab unity."
-PLO executive committee member Zahir Muhsein, 1977

the palestinians were there first, but now the israelis and palestinians are having a war.I know the palestinians want their land back but...the wars been going on since 1947 and nothing changed.why cant the palestinians and israelis live together?they can call it Palesrael or Israpales.all ppl care about these days is war..whoever invented weapons shud be thrown out of this universe!
weapons+angry people=WAR
see this equation?it means if weapons and angry people are in the same place a big fat fight happens.and ppl die.
anyways...im gona go put an end to the war.wish me luck.

when moses led the jews out of egypt. the land that is now israel was called canaan. it was occupied by arabs. the jews took it and formed israel (some canaanites never left) . it was the promised land. they held it until the roman empire conquered it. the romans pretty much ran the jews out of israel. most of them moved to europe. when the RE collapsed, the moslems inherited control. this was about the year 500. the arabs held the holy land until the crusades, when christians took it over for a while. the moslems ran the christians out and held the area for roughly 1000 years. it was palestine. britain got control of palestine in the 1800's during the British empire. after WWII the state of israel was formed to give the jews a homeland.
the jews had been gone from there since the roman empire, or about 1500 years.
before the jews were in egypt, they didnt settle in any one particular area. they were the "wandering jews".
i guess the rule of thumb for history is- whoever conquers, or takes control of some land, it is theirs to do with what they want. pretty much every country has changed hands several times in history. there is no way to establish who has first rights to any land. might makes right.
the palestinian-israel situation is more complicated than most. israel did not win it in a war, it was given to them by the victors of WWII. the bible connections complicated things because britain, and europe is christian. they believe in the bible , which is the story of the jews.
the europeans wanted the jews out of europe because they considered them to be trouble. the europeans also considered the arabs of palestine to be pretty much sub-human. they decided to get rid of the jews and who cares what the palestinians thought, tough luck for them.

It's not very sure who was there first. The earliest known mention of the name 'Israel', probably referring to a group of people rather than to a place.I think the Palestinians have the right to that place. They were living there when the Jews started to emigrate,so i don't think it's really important whi lived there 2000 years ago.

i think both because despite who lived their first, their history goes back a long *** time, so they've been there for generations, so to both sides it's considered home
