It's a brand new fence that is not painted.

I'd try paint remover or mineral spirits first. Then if that doesn't work, try an electric sander. You can usually rent them at a hardware store or borrow them from a friend.

Sand it off I guess. Unless it is a lot then it would be easier to paint the fence unless it is a big fence that is still the natural wood.

Find the little twirp who did it. Hand him a copy of "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer" and tell him to read about how fun it can be painting a fence. Then hand him a bucket of paint and a brush, grab some brewskis and watch TV.

Cover it with paint the color you want it to be, or replace the wood. Removing paint is so hard it's not worth the effort, unless the wood is some special antique or sentimental wood.
