My favorite theory of dream interpretation is that you are all the people in your dream. To interpret your dream, determine the characteristics of all the players. What does each person represent to you.
Those strengths and weaknesses in yourself are at play in your dream.
You keep dreaming it because you haven't decided or worked out the conflict yet.

How is your relationship with the girl, when you're not dreaming?
It sounds like she's jealous of the girl. Are you sure this is a dream?.........LOL
Fighting & arguing in your dream may symbolize inner struggle or emotional issues.
If you notice the issues/problems, that your dream relates to, perhaps it's time to address them (your girlfriend).
Problems are best resolved through communication instead of yelling, violence.
Maybe deep down, you're tired of your relationship, and you don't know what to do, and that's why you keep dreaming about it.
Talk to her, try to work it out, and see if it helps.

It depends on what it means to YOU, based on how you feel as a character in the dream and in reality. Or, maybe you want the girl you love to be jealous of the best friend. Or, maybe you think your best friend doesn;t like the girl you love. Or, maybe your best friend is into you and the girl you love senses it. Could be anything.
Also, even though the sex of the people in your dreams are the opposite of yours (i'm presuming), the people in your dreams can also symbolize yourself in a variety of ways.

I read your question over and over...for some reason I just don't get your situation... which part of it is the dream? Your fight with who, what...which friend??? I'm lost. I guess I expected a dream that I can actually try to explain...but no dream...no explainin'. Keep on dreaming. Try telling it better. Good luck. Peace out.

Dreams are unique to every individual and it's really nearly impossible for someone who is not VERY close to you to give you insight to what your dreams mean.
The answer is in your head. Examine every detail of the dream -- colors, clothes people wear, tiny mannerisms, everything. Ask yourself questions about everything in it -- how do certain things make you feel, what is your gut reaction to the details .... everything. Anything can be a clue. Your dreams are your subconscious thoughts coming to the surface while you sleep and are completely uninhibites.

You are the only one who can interperet your dream... according to the theory of sigmund freud, dreams are part of our subconscious mind, part of the experiences we had every day..ex. a guy has a big crush on his cousin but since its social wrong to desire your own cousin he repress his feelings for her... Here's his dream... In his dream he saw his cousin holding two balloons then his cousin give it to him.. Translation... the two ballon signifies the boobs of her cousins... According to freud dreams are fulfillment of our deepest desire. just like the story of the boy. His repress feelings surge in his dream but in a subtle way because you see even in our dream there is still some kind of a cersorhip though not that stron compared to when we are awake..... sometimes i can actually intepret my dreams using this theory.. and its amazing when you decode your own dream..
